What motivated you to join our company?
I was recommended to apply by a current employee, and I resonated with Concentric’s cohesion of positive impacts and intelligence solutions. As an analyst, I wanted to see my work create a tangible impact, and I felt that Concentric created the perfect avenue for this professional development. What advice would you give to new employees who are looking to grow or start their careers within our organization?
Take advantage of Concentric’s recruitment services and employees. Concentric has a plethora of resources for new and current hires to continuously grow, whether through a new job or skill advancement. Don’t be afraid to reach out and connect with fellow employees, as they have experience and knowledge that may help new employees.
How have your career aspirations evolved since you joined Concentric?
When I originally joined Concentric, I had planned to utilize my skills developed in intelligence to become a criminal investigator or special agent. However, my experiences at the company have ignited my passion in utilizing OSINT to make a positive impact. I aim to continue to develop my skills in intelligence analysis to further my career as an analyst, potentially exploring work with intergovernmental organizations.
Can you share a specific moment or project that significantly contributed to your career advancement here?
Concentric’s all-hands events provide employees, especially those in the embedded program, a great avenue to connect and network. At the previous all-hands, I was able to meet the members of the recruitment team and develop connections on a personal and professional level. I was also able to meet with those embedded on other teams, which allowed me to learn from their experiences and shape my plan for career advancement.
How has the company culture and environment supported your career progression?
Concentric fosters collaboration and open-mindedness throughout the entire company. From the interview process to my second year at the company, I have been continuously supported by recruitment and management, which has created an environment filled with respect and positivity. Additionally, constant communication on real-time events and intelligence sharing has demonstrated Concentric’s consistent curiosity in the intelligence community, providing essential drive and motivation for me to continue my professional development in the intelligence field.
