What is a typical day for you like at Concentric?
Anyone in HR knows, there is no such thing as a typical day! But usually, a lot of meetings, in between working on current projects with the team such implementing a new HRIS, meeting with employees, or working on new wellness initiatives for our employees.
How long have you been at Concentric and what part of your job do you find most fulfilling?
I’ve been with Concentric for over a year and a half, and it has been a great journey. I love our company’s commitment to maintaining a flat organization; we work hard to ensure our employees know that they can reach out to any level of the organization and be heard.
What is your educational and professional background before joining Concentric?
I got my BA in Human Services from Western Washington University back in 2016, ending my time in college with an internship in the HR department with Volunteers of America. I loved my time there and decided to dive right into the field as a Human Resources Assistant after graduation and have been in HR ever since!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Now that the sun is coming back out, I love to take my paddle board out any chance I can, or spend the afternoon wine tasting. I also love going through my cookbooks, looking for new recipes to try!
What are you most looking forward to over the next year?
Concentric is growing quickly, so the HR team is working hard to roll out new vendors and programs that better support the organization which is always exciting!
