What is a typical day for you like at Concentric?

As an Intelligence Analyst for the Threat and Risk Management team, our focus is to analyze information to help understand and mitigate potential threats to the company in what is a cohesive effort across our three pillars, Vendor Management, Protective Intelligence, and Behavioral Threat. Responsibilities of our team consist of screening associated vendors of any high risk findings, executive/employee protection encompassing consistent online monitoring, travel risk, and executive risk assessments. Lastly, our behavioral threat program analyzes employee and client behavior that may signal risks, such as workplace violence, insider threats, and other disruptive conduct. We work closely with physical security to implement proactive intervention strategies that promote the safety of the company, principals, employees, and clients. Our team consistently demonstrates high performance with each member understanding the importance of their role that significantly contributes to the safety and success of the company.

How long have you been at Concentric and what part of your job do you find most fulfilling?

I have currently been with Concentric for about a year and a half, beginning in June of 2023. The part I find most fulfilling as a member of our team is the direct effect we have at ensuring the safety of all. I like to consider our role almost as the “backbone” that assists all other aspects of the company to thrive and perform their duties efficiently. Being able to mitigate disruptions to operations and maintain employee/client safety helps the company be effective at securing our clients satisfaction.

What is your educational and professional background before joining Concentric?

Before my time at Concentric, I served in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years as an intelligence analyst for 2d Battalion 8th Marines in North Carolina, where I was able to achieve the rank of Sergeant and received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. During my time, I served as the Company Level Intelligence Chief for Golf Company as part of the Black Sea Rotational Force providing regional intelligence updates, tactical questioning support, and maintaining a strong relationship with our NATO allies. Additionally, I augmented US Forces Korea’s J2 ISR division during heightened tensions in the Korean Peninsula in 2018 providing time-sensitive updates on the status of theater reconnaissance platforms and collection requirements. After my time in the service, I moved out to Colorado from my childhood home in New Jersey where I began working towards a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Colorado with a major in Political Science. While in school I was brought upon an amazing job opportunity contracting for Crisis24 as an intelligence analyst for the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). After about a year in that position I was transitioned over to the Threat and Risk Management team supporting our three pillars, in which I eventually transferred my contract over to Concentric and could not be happier with the position I am currently in and the amazing people I work with.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Outside of work, my wife and I love to enjoy the outdoors with our two dogs going on hikes and camping in the summer, which was one of the biggest reasons we chose to move out to Colorado. There truly is nothing like enjoying the endless and beautiful scenery of the mountains. I also love to spend time at the gym where I really got into weightlifting when I joined the service and have been going consistently since. When I am not spending time outdoors or at the gym, I enjoy playing video games with my childhood and Marine Corps friends, and my favorite thing of all, watching sports, being a fan of the New York Giants, Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers. Being away from New York we still love to attend sporting events around Denver especially when our teams come to play.

What are you most looking forward to over the next year?

The next year has a lot in store for me both personally and professionally. Personally, I look forward to buying a house as we plan to start searching in January which would be such an awesome and much anticipated transition. On a professional level, much like my whole time in my current position, I mostly look forward to assisting and seeing the consistent development and growth of our team. Having been with them for two years now I have seen many team members come and go, in which at one point there were only three of us back in January of 2024. Now we have grown our team to six members and have seen amazing development in which we have established new travel risk and behavioral threat programs that have significantly assisted with the growth and effectiveness of the entire physical security team and the company as well.
