What is a typical day for you like at Concentric?
The HR team has the opportunity to support all our employees and their needs so our standard day is one filled with responding to those needs as well as planning and responding to our ever changing work environment, laws and compliance needs. Additionally, I have the opportunity to oversee our payroll, benefits and culture strategy for the company so there is always something to do and work towards each day!
How long have you been at Concentric and what part of your job do you find most fulfilling?
Next month, it will have been 3 years since I joined the Concentric team. As I mentioned, we get the chance to interact with all our team members from their application throughout their life cycle with us, which gives me the most fulfillment – we are able to support during the good, the challenging and everything in between to ensure the team has a positive and supportive experience with Concentric.
What is your educational and professional background before joining Concentric?
My degree in Human Resource Management, from Central Washington University, has provided me the opportunity to support municipalities, government agencies and professional services organizations. Prior to Concentric, I supported a top 8 public accounting firm in Bellevue, where I focused on recruiting, culture building and employee relations support.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
My favorite things to enjoy include early morning running, traveling with family and friends, drinking a cold glass of bubbles and during the summer months, you will likely catch me at Blue Lake or driving a wheat truck on our family farm.
What are you most looking forward to over the next year?
The coming year marks a few milestones in my life that include completing another half marathon and vacationing in the Caribbean.
