What is a typical day for you like at Concentric?
In my role with Concentric I never have a typical day, which is why I love my job. Each day is different with existing clients and my team of embedded employees, and the mix of introductions to new clients. It’s ever changing which keeps it new and interesting.
How long have you been at Concentric and what part of your job do you find most fulfilling?
I find it hard to believe that in May I will reach my 2 year anniversary. The people I work with at Concentric are simply amazing and I get great joy in working with my embedded teams, making them feel appreciated for the excellent work they do for our great clients. I take pride in building client relationships and being able to deliver exceptional, reliable customer service.
What is your educational and professional background before joining Concentric?
I had an exciting 25 yr career with the King County Sheriff’s Office with exposure to many facets of law enforcement. My most memorable assignments during my tenure were supervising the Air Support Unit / Search & Rescue Teams, where I learned to fly helicopters, and then finished my final years as the Chief of Police in the City of Woodinville. Post retirement, I came back to the security industry as an executive protection agent and then transitioned into corporate risk management.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
My wife and I currently live aboard our 60′ boat and take advantage of our ‘backyard’, cruising in the Puget Sound, San Juan Islands and Canadian Gulf Islands. As with any boat, there are always projects and things to fix, and I am relentlessly working on something broken or a remodeling project of some sort.
What are you most looking forward to over the next year?
I’m looking forward to working with our expanding embedded team, creating new client relationships, and exploring new ports and anchorages.
